  Pastor Ben Kimmell loves the Lord, and it shows. The staff and volunteers of Calvary Baptist put forth an amazing effort to provide a really fun Awana program during the school year. They serve dinner, play sports, give strong Biblical messages, and even have nursery for the babies. Sunday service has a great band for worship, without feeling like you're in a concert. The sermons that Pastor Kimmell delivers are expositional, and hard-hitting. No mothers milk here, you're going to get the meat of the message. They work with several missions, they SEND missionaries, they START missions, and they are active locally in the mission field of their own community here in Perry.
